The Role

    Delivery of high quality remote and onsite support, including some small project-based activities
    Responding appropriately to, and effectively resolving, customer incidents, queries or complaints.
    Setting up, troubleshooting, maintaining and supporting primarily Laptops, desktops and server infrastructure.
    Report and take ownership of relevant issues to third parties. Keeping the customer up to date on the progress of their request regularly.
    You will have a ‘hands on’ problem solving approach;
    Work on client machines/devices remotely via phone, email and Internet and also attending client site during installations or where remote resolution is not appropriate.
    Hardware, software, desktop, network and infrastructure support.
    Take ownership of project activity assigned to you and manage them through to resolution
    Application troubleshooting
    Promoting the services and business of CommPoint at all times, passing on any sales leads to colleagues as appropriate.
    Identifying wider opportunities for technological improvements where possible.

Skills and qualifications

    At least two years’ experience of providing IT Support in a commercial environment
    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    Experience installing, troubleshooting and supporting Microsoft Office, Office 365, Active Directory, Windows Server 2016, VOIP & Mobile Telephony, connectivity (leased lines, braodband etc.), online back-up,
    Formal IT qualification, ideally MCSE/MCITP or multiple MCPs massively advantageous but not a deal breaker.
    Clean, valid driving licence and car for travel to customer sites.

    Very good technical understanding of current leading technologies, suppliers and industry terminology
    Solid customer relations skills, with the ability to listen and question, in order to understand and resolve customers issues, concerns and requirements
    Ability to work well within team, supporting other team members
    Willingness to gain relevant qualifications and accreditation's


Location & culture

This role will be based in our Norbury Office, London SW16; however, you will also be required to work at Client offices, who are based throughout the South East.
